ABOUT OUR CHURCH
Redwood Christian Center is celebrating its 64th anniversary. Bro. Richard Reneau began this church in 1958, in Rio Dell, California, but after a short time felt led to move his congregation to Eureka The church outgrew its first building (which is now our dining hall) and so the need for a new addition. The sanctuary was built in 1969. After a time, Bro. Reneau felt led of the Lord to continue his ministry in another location. He resideded in Sarasota, Florida for a number of years. The Lord called this pioneer home on October 6, 2013.
Dewey Davis became the new pastor and has continued in this office until the present time. In 2008, a new addition to the church was completed which greatly enhanced the accommodations needed for all the activities of the church, and have prepared us for the growth that is now happening.
In November of 2021 the Lord blessed this church with the addition of assistant pastors - John and Stephanie Samson. The Samson family attended this church when John was just a teenager. Pastor Dewey always felt that John would become part of the leadership in this church as he saw God's anointing on his life. John is now 54 years of age, has a grown family, and is here with his lovely wife, Stephanie. John attended Rhema Bible college and is a great teacher in the Word. His ministry and vision is a great blessing to Redwood Christian Center.
Redwood Christian Center is a Full Gospel Bible Believing Church. Our church is a growing group of believers who are committed to knowing God and making Him known. The church consists of more than a building or a denomination. It is people who have experienced the love of God.
We desire to meet the needs of everyone. Therefore, we have a Sunday School, including a nursery. Our teachers are Spirit filled, trained, enthusiastic and caring. We also have Children’s Church for the children and an active youth group. On Thursdays we enjoy food and fellowship followed by online Bible Studies taught by well-known ministries or by one of the ministers within our own church. And once each month, on the first Sunday of the month, we have an all-church pot-luck for fellowship and times of sharing with one another..
We trust this website will be a blessing to you. It is part of our outreach and will be updated continually. Keep watch for new messages and sermons from each of our staff. Check out all the departments and see what is happening in each. Any special meetings or activities will also be announced on this web site. May God bless you. And please, come and visit us soon.
The coming of the Lord is drawing nigh, and we desire to do all we can to spread the “Good News” of His great Salvation plan. We look forward to all that God has planned and is doing in our congregation, and we anticipate getting acquainted with you.

ABC STEPS TO SALVATION
A. Acknowledge or admit that you are a sinner. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God..” Romans 3:10 says, “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
B. Believe in your heart that the Lord Jesus Christ can save you from your sin by repenting, and asking for His forgiveness, and accepting Him into your heart and life. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Acts 16:31, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
C. Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ. I John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Romans 10:9-10. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart; man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and I ask you to forgive me. I repent of my wicked ways and I desire now to walk in your ways. Wash me and cleanse me with your blood which was shed on Calvary. Come into my heart and make me your child and fill me with your precious Holy Spirit. Help me from this day forward to live for you and confess you before men. Thank you for hearing me and cleansing me. Thank you for coming into my heart and making me your child. In Jesus Name, Amen.
