Stafford RV Park was purchased in June 1994 by Redwood Christian Center. It is 18 acres at the north end of the famous Avenue of the Giants driving tour. We are located about 250 miles north of San Francisco and about 30 miles south of Eureka on highway 101. We are about a ¼ mile off of the Stafford Road exit, number 676.

We have 75 Sites. Daily, weekly and monthly rates. Full hook-ups with large drive-thru spaces, providing privacy under the Redwoods. Cabins and tent sites available with fire rings and tables. Access to the Eel River for swimming, fishing, and hiking. Just 4 miles to Scotia or Rio Dell services - restaurants, groceries, auto repairs, major stations.

Easy driving distance to Ferndale - a unique Victorian Village with many Antique Shops and Art Galleries. Just a short drive to Rockefeller Forest and other points of interest along the Avenue of the Giants. While here take free trips through the Demonstration Forest, enjoy bicycling through the Redwoods, collect specimens at the World Famous Fossil Beds in Rio Dell, and fish for salmon and steel head in season.

Stafford RV Park is only 2½ miles from Scotia, a beautiful little town. It has a grocery store, a hardware store, an Inn with an elegant restaurant, a bank, a museum, a doctor, a dentist, a pharmacy, and of course, the lumber company. It's about 10 miles from the small city of Fortuna.

Stafford RV Park has 75 sites, nine cabins, two gazebos, a stump-tree cabin, playground, laundry, restrooms with showers, lots of blackberries, and welcomes all size RV’s and tenters alike. We have hot showers that won’t cost you a quarter. Stafford R.V. park is a nice place to have a wedding, a reunion, a youth or family outing, or just get a peaceful and quiet nights sleep. We are located in the heart of Redwood country.
